Pianista, compositore ed informatico musicale, già docente di “Modelli d’analisi e trattamento digitale del suono” e di “Laboratorio di restauro audio” per il Dipartimento Nuove Tecnologie presso il Conservatorio “T. Schipa” di Lecce.
Le attività professionali ed artistiche sono fortemente qualificate grazie all’utilizzo delle nuove tecnologie informatiche nell’ambito specifico della live electronics. Esperto di problematiche NIME (New Interfaces for Musical Expression-Nuove interfacce per l’espressione musicale) e più in generale di Human-Computer Interaction – HCI.
Vanta collaborazioni artistiche, in qualità di autore delle musiche e interprete, con personalità come Giorgio Albertazzi, Anna Mazzamauro, Marina Polla De Luca, Vanessa Gravina, Livio Galassi, Vinko Globokar, Biagio Putignano et altri. Particolarmente interessato per le forme compositive multimediali quali quelle per il teatro musicale, per balletto o performer, per la video-art ecc. è autore di musiche per film e musica di scena di numerose opere teatrali.

Composer, suond designer and performer expert on live electronics and live processing of performers. Born in Zürich, Switzerland, he lives in Italy (Salento – Puglia).
His research activities involve sounds works for voices, acustic instruments and digital live processing, sound installations, realtime computer-human interaction-improvisation in music theatre, dance, video-art.In his projects emerge the sound transformation by using Symbolic Sound Corporation Audio Processing Unit (APU) system.
This powerful sound computation engine is always engaged in his compositional works in the integration of artificial intelligence, compositional process and musical improvisation/performance. For this reason, to encompass this new world of possibilities, the composer researches continuosily a new aesthetic orientation based on complex manipulation and interpolation of sonic events.He holds courses on computer music and digital sound system, courses on multi/iper-media and creativity.
